Your own classyQuiz
This site is free and shared by everyone who uses it, with room for a few dozen classes a day. When that is used up, it says so and works again the next day. Your own copy is the same site at an address of your own, on a free account of your own, and what it allows a day is yours alone.
Who does what
- GitHub is where the site's code is published. Your AI fetches it from there. You don't need a GitHub account.
- Cloudflare is the company whose free plan runs the site. Your copy runs on your own free Cloudflare account, at an address like yourname.pages.dev.
- Your AI does the setup: it downloads the code, installs what it needs and puts the site online.
What you need
- An AI that can run programs on your computer, such as Claude Code. A chat in the browser can explain the steps but can't carry them out.
- A computer where you may install programs. A school-managed laptop often isn't one.
- An email address for the Cloudflare account.
What to ask your AI
Please set up my own copy of classyQuiz from https://github.com/sacrusha/ClassyQuiz on a free Cloudflare account, following its README. Tell me each step I have to do myself.
What you do yourself
- Create a free account at dash.cloudflare.com, if you don't have one.
- Create a token when the AI asks for one: a key that lets it put sites on your account. The AI tells you where in Cloudflare to create it, what to tick, and where to put it.
- Choose a name for your site. It becomes the address: name.pages.dev.
- The AI asks before it installs programs on your computer (Node.js, git) and runs the setup; those are the steps it needs.
At the end the AI tells you your site's address.
Afterwards
When you ask your AI for a quiz, name your own address instead of classyquiz.pages.dev. To bring your copy up to date later, ask your AI to update it from GitHub.
